    Our Director

    Director Miyako Yoshinaga began her career as a curatorial assistant at the Asian Art Department at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York. She was also an independent curator and researcher. Over the last three decades, she has curated and organized numerous exhibitions at her own gallery as well as other institutions, putting artists with different cultural backgrounds and sensitivities together and creating vibrant dialogues. Throughout her career, Miyako has engaged in writing (for Niikei Art, Gekkan Bijutsu, etc.) and translating contemporary art, appraising collections, arranging museum acquisitions for artists, and art consulting for both private and corporate clients. Miyako attended Keio University in Tokyo and the acclaimed Museum Studies Program at New York University. She was featured in PHOTOGRAPH Magazine’s “In Profile” column in November/December 2014 and Tussle Magazine in Feburary 2020.

    MIYAKO YOSHINAGA is located on a prime block on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, steps from Central Park and surrounded by world-renowned museums, flagship fashion shops, restaurants, and other attractions.


    As a boutique gallery, we invite you to relax and spend time enjoying our artists' latest creations as well as our unique collection of photographs, prints, photo books, and catalogues. Our ultimate goal is to cultivate stimulating dialogues and trusting relationships with our clients and members of our diverse art community.
