In Objectivist, Jyrki Siukonen transforms an image of an outstretched hand into a sculptural composition, placing a dark circular object over its palm. Supported by a wooden tripod, the framed photograph assumes the form of a viewing apparatus, inviting the viewer to reconsider the relationship between image, object, and perception. The work explores the interplay of two- and three-dimensional space, where the photographic image becomes a tangible presence.
