We are delighted to share highlights from Koyoltzintli's recent performance at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, presented as part of the museum's Artists on Artworks program, on October 2, 2026. In this special sonic offering, the multidisciplinary artist brought ancient instruments and ancestral traditions of the Americas into dialogue with contemporary artistic expression, responding to Pre-Columbian artifacts displayed in the museum's newly reimagined Michael C. Rockefeller Wing.
