Photo London 2026: G01

Olympia, May 14 - 17, 2026
Overview

We are pleased to announce our participation in the 11th edition of Photo London, from May 14 to 17, 2026, held at the beautifully renovated Olympia building in Kensington. This marks our debut at the fair, and we are excited to present a focused selection of works by four artists whose practices we have long been committed to.

In 1960s and 1970s New York, Melissa Shook (1939–2020, American), a single mother, created an intimate and quietly radical body of work centered on the shared lives of her daughter, Krissy, and herself as they performed together before the camera. Similarly, Mikiko Hara (b. 1967, Japanese) has developed a quotidian yet deeply intuitive photographic language over more than three decades, observing fleeting moments within her modest daily life in Japan.

Following his experience documenting the aftermath of the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, Hitoshi Fugo (b. 1947, Japanese) began his monochrome still-life series KAMI, centered on a half-burned roll of paper salvaged from a factory fire. Over more than two decades, the work has evolved into a sustained meditation on materiality, transformation, and impermanence. Joo Myung Duck (b. 1940, Korean) presents bird’s-eye views of mountainous terrain, some near the border between North and South Korea. Rendered in a restrained and contemplative visual language, these landscapes quietly evoke layers of geopolitical tension and historical memory.
